Drs. Christopher and Gina Bertuglia Gomez of Pensacola, Florida serve patients in the community with a wide selection of restorative procedures, including that of quality dental implants. Implants are placed by the team at Gomez Family Dentistry to help our patients achieve healthy, fully functioning smiles. They are one of several tooth replacement options to replace missing teeth but by far the most popular. In fact, our team can talk to you about the many benefits of dental implants and why our patients request them!
Ten reasons to love quality dental implants
Dental implants function like natural teeth. With our dental implants, you have the chance to eat, speak, and smile with confidence just like you would with your natural teeth. Implants are anchored right in the jawbone, providing a strong and stable foundation for replacement teeth.
Dental implants look and feel like real teeth. Dental implants are customized to specifically match the color, shape, and even the size of your natural teeth. This means they blend in seamlessly with your smile and are practically indistinguishable from the natural teeth.
Dental implants prevent bone loss. When a natural adult tooth is missing, the jawbone underneath it starts to deteriorate with time. Dental implants stimulate the bone tissue through chewing and help maintain its strength and density.
Dental implants are a long-term solution. With proper care and regular maintenance, our quality dental implants can last a lifetime. This makes them a more cost-effective option compared to other tooth replacement options that might need to be replaced or even repaired over time.
Dental implants do not require special care. Unlike dentures and bridges, dental implants do not require any special cleaning or maintenance routine. Simply brushing and even flossing regularly, along with attending regular dental check-ups, is all that is needed to keep your implant healthy.
Dental implants are versatile. Dental implants can support various restorations such as single crowns, bridges, or even full arch dentures. This versatility allows for customized treatment plans based on each patient’s unique needs.
Dental implants preserve adjacent teeth. Unlike more traditional dental bridges, dental implants do not require the neighboring teeth for support. This means that adjacent teeth are not compromised in the process of replacing a missing tooth.
Dental implants improve speech and chewing ability. Missing teeth can affect speech and make it difficult to eat certain foods. Dental implants restore these functions, allowing patients to speak clearly and enjoy many of their favorite foods–with no restrictions!
Dental implants are a permanent solution. Unlike removable dentures, which might shift or slip out of place, quality dental implants are securely anchored in the jawbone, providing a stable and comfortable fit.
Dental implants boost self-confidence. With a complete and beautiful smile, many patients find that their personal self-esteem and confidence improve significantly after receiving dental implants. This also has a positive impact on overall quality of life.
