Christopher Gomez, DDS
Dr. Christopher Gomez was born in New York and was raised in Manizales, Colombia for the majority of his childhood. When he returned to the United States, his family settled in Miami, where he graduated high school and went on to study Chemistry at Florida International University. After college, Dr. Gomez was awarded a United States Air Force Health Professions Scholarship and moved to Baltimore where he graduated at the top of his class from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2012. Upon graduation from dental school, he completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program at Keesler Air Force Base (Biloxi, Mississippi). He was then stationed at Hurlburt Field Air Force Base where he served the rest of his commitment as a Captain.
Dr. Christopher Gomez completed a year long Comprehensive Implant Residency Program (CIRP) in Bessemer, Alabama where he learned to place implants as well as performs sinus and jaw grafting for patients who do not have enough bone to place implants. Dr Gomez has a broad range of knowledge in treating patients, from those who need one single implant or those who are looking for a full mouth rehabilitation with multiple implants and removable or fixed implant dentures.
In his spare time, Dr. Gomez loves to paint, fish, and capture the beauty of the night sky with his astrophotography.
Dr. Christopher Gomez is married to Dr. Gina Gomez and they have 3 beautiful children; Leonardo, Lorenzo, and Luciana. He loves spending time with his family and going on adventures together.
Gina Bertuglia Gomez, DDS
Dr. Gina Gomez was born and raised on Long Island, New York and went to the University of Delaware for her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Spanish Studies. She then moved to Baltimore to attend the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she met Dr. Christopher Gomez. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Gina Gomez completed a 1-year General Practice Residency at Stonybrook University in New York and has spent the last 10 years in private practice in Gulf Breeze and Pensacola, Florida.
Drs. Gina and Christopher Gomez have 3 beautiful children; Leonardo, Lorenzo, and Luciana. They are both bilingual in English and Spanish and they are trying our best to pass that on to their children!
In her spare time she enjoys being active, traveling, hiking, and cooking. She has recently started to learn how to play the piano alongside children. Most importantly, she loves spending time with her family.
When treating patients, Dr. Gina Gomez always keeps the patient’s best interests at heart and treats them the same way she would treat her own family.
